Program Details

The CODE YOU Wholistic Leadership Program offers up to 21 CE hours. Course participants receive the education, tools, and support needed to resuscitate and strengthen nursing from the inside out. THE 2027 COHORT In-person retreat day: Saturday, April 10, 2027, 10 am to 4 pm, in San Antonio. Zoom session 1: Thursday, April 22, 2027, 6:30 to 8:30 pm CT. Zoom session 2: Thursday, April 29, 2027, 6:30 to 8:30 pm CT. Zoom session 3: Thursday, May 6, 2027, 6:30 to 8:30 pm CT. WHERE The in-person retreat day is at Health by Design Wellness, 13409 George Rd, San Antonio, TX 78230 — just off NW Military Highway, near Wurzbach Parkway. The three follow-up sessions meet on Zoom, so you can join from wherever you are. WHAT WE COVER The in-person gathering covers the first three classes, focusing on the heart of the nurse with interactive training on active listening, storytelling, and the Enneagram. From that empowered posture, we take on some of the most challenging issues plaguing nursing today: workplace violence, bullying, and trauma. In the final session, leaders are coached on how to carry the course teachings into their own work plan and shift the culture in the area they lead. Nurse leaders are also offered two one-on-one 30-minute coaching sessions and training on how to lead a CODE YOU retreat of their own. WHO IS LEADING IT N. Tamara Ramirez, MASFSD, BSN, RN and Phyllis Morton, MSN, RN, SD. Both are seasoned nurses and trained Spiritual Directors. BEFORE YOU REGISTER *Prerequisites include a nursing leadership position and the completion of a CODE YOU retreat. The Spring Retreat on March 20, 2027 meets that prerequisite. *ANCC accreditation through the Oregon Nurses Association (ONA), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
