CODE YOU Spring Retreat - 2027

Program Details

A half-day retreat for nurses in San Antonio. Saturday, March 20, 2027, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. $85, and you leave with 6 ANCC-accredited* CE contact hours. Scholarships are available on request. YOUR 6 CE CONTACT HOURS *This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Oregon Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. To receive your hours, complete the pre-work, attend the retreat, and complete a short online evaluation afterward; your certificate arrives within 5 business days. WHO IS LEADING THE DAY N. Tamara Ramirez, MASFSD, BSN, RN and Phyllis Morton, MSN, RN, SD. Both are seasoned nurses and trained Spiritual Directors. WHERE Health by Design Wellness, 13409 George Rd, San Antonio, TX 78230 — just off NW Military Highway, near Wurzbach Parkway. Lunch, refreshments, and parking are all included in the $85. THE DAY We start slow. Coffee, and time to settle in. From there the day moves between teaching and practice. We look honestly at compassion fatigue and what it is actually doing to you. We move through simple yoga and breath practices — no experience needed, and no one is watching. We eat lunch together. There is time outdoors, time to journal on your own, and time to make some not-so-artistic art. We close with teaching on spirituality and whole-person health, where you build your own spiritual care plan to take home. Your remaining contact hours are earned through short pre-work before the retreat and post-work afterward. Both are sent to you by email. WHAT NURSES HAVE SAID "What a great retreat! Tell us and we will credit your registration toward a future retreat or another CODE YOU course or service. You will not lose it to a schedule you did not control. Do I have to be a nurse?
